
Core Subject Tutoring
Our Tutoring & Test Prep Program is designed to meet every student where they are—academically and geographically. Whether enrolled in our online school or attending in person in Brooklyn or Kinston, all students receive tailored academic support aligned with their region's educational standards and testing requirements.

Tutoring is available for Grades 3–12 in core subjects like English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science, with an emphasis on both content mastery and test preparation.

Whether new to robotics or already experienced, every student will build real projects and expand their skills at their own pace. We meet each learner where they are and provide support, challenges, and inspiration!

Our tutoring and test prep services are fully aligned with the New York State Education Department (NYSED) standards. We provide targeted academic support for both the Grades 3–8 State Exams and the high school Regents Examinations.

2025–2026 New York State Testing Dates

Regents Examinations – High School (Grades 9–12)
Held each June, these subject-specific exams are graduation requirements for most NY high school students. Students in our tutoring program receive preparation for both the content and format of each exam, including lab skills, writing prompts, and calculator-based questions.

Students must pass a combination of Regents Exams (usually 5) to meet graduation requirements. We ensure that each student is well-prepared through content review, test-taking strategies, and time management techniques.

These annual assessments measure whether students in Grades 3–8 are meeting New York’s Next Generation Learning Standards in reading, math, and science.

EOG (End-of-Grade) and EOC (End-of-Course) exams are standardized tests required by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) to assess whether students have mastered grade-level and course-level standards.
